Default EBC clutch kit DRC212

Gearing up to replace the clutch plates/springs. Just waiting on the clutch cover gasket to show up.

Is there anything to be looking out for? Seems straight forward. Lay the bike on its left side. Soak the plates in oil. R&R with the new parts. Done deal?

Seems that when I changed to Spectro synthetic 10w40 the clutch went away but I wasn't on it, so I can't say. I was using Maxima Premium 4 and all was well. But I took it for a ride recently and in 4/5/6th I could get it to slip. Wondering if changing oil was a good idea? I ran out of the Maxima and just started using the Spectro that goes in the husky. I change it at the same intervals as the 450s, which is probably dumb.

One repercussion of the big bore 350 - extra hp.......Dang it.

Coming back from the dirt, the girl was saying its backfiring. She was making it slip alot and it was hot. And I didn't realize it till it was way too late, there was no play in the lever.
The gearbox oil was black...

replace the stock springs for a reinforced EBC, are 10% harder.
Also try to install a KX125 clutch discs of 93.

In case of preferring always choose parts Kawasaki KLX300 products are higher quality, cheaper and made in Japan, not Thailand as the KLX250.

I thought I read about the kx125 plates at planetklx but couln't find it. I'll remember that klx300 parts can interchange w/ the klx250. Preferrence is made in the USA but have to make concessions every now & then. Thanks for the tips.

Couldn't wait for the new gasket so I installed the ebc clutch assembly anyways. It went in no problem other than the 2 thin rings that go inside the outer most fiber plate. Had to look at the service manual a couple times to make sure plus offsetting the outer most plate 15 degreees. Greased the old gasket and checked for leaks. Good to go, works excellent.

The system of rotation to 15 degrees I think it's an anti-vibration kawasaki.
Can be suppressed by removing the plaque that is standard, adding a normal, besides the 2 washers.
