How did the ride go guys????? I did a short street ride around the area and ended up taking my buddies TL1000R for a 2 hour hell ride as he wouldn't geive back my darn KLX......It was a first ride for him and he's hooked on what it can do on the street with the tires I have ....needless to say i'm hooked on the TL as well.....LOL...I might just aquire another bike for the stable and the klx is definatley a keeper.

Perfect riding weather, sunny and in the low 60's.

Tons and tons of whooops, nice scenery and great group of people!

I had an absolute blast! I tried a hill climb and failed it..:-) Dumped the bike the wrong way..tires facing up hill. Jeff & Pete came down and helped me rotate it facing back down hill. The most important thing though is that that neither me or the bike got even a scratch! I guess the stock rear tire with over 800 miles on it just wasn't enough bite to get me up the hill..?

I hope to ride again with You guys soon. Just give me a shout when You are ready again...

I don't think that one of us even had a camera on us. There were 2 650's riding with us, a klr650 and a 92 kick only dr650. They made it through the whoops one way but they proved to be too much for the big 650's they had to take the roads back instead of returning on the trail.
