Default Early Mods/Dual Star Update

Finally got some of the first mods out of the way on my '07. Mirrors, bilnkers, and ballanced rim lock. I finally got a hold of Dual Star and they got me the mirrors I've been coveting for awhile now. Nice people, good product but I about choked when they answered the phone as I'd called so many times to no avail. Here are a few pics. The spoke weights look about as good as they can for spoke weights. I added a Monster bar pad and decals as well. Having a good summer with the bike.

Hey, is it possible to fit a bar pad onto the stock handlebar? Mine has a Cable Holder on the middle ..

The smaller pad fit's the '07 but it's not centered. If your cable holder is in the middle then you'll have to do some modifications to the pad.

Thanks. The blinkers are made by Bikemaster, I got them at my local shop. They're non-LED so they were an easy install without having to worry about adding a resistor to correct the blink speed.

were the supplied wires on the blinkers long enough, and did they just plug in ?

Yeah, the wires were plenty long enough because I spliced them underneath the back fender I dapped a bit of silicone sealent on the connectors for good measure, wrapped them in electrical tape, tied them up with 'tie-wraps' and tucked them away.

I just got off the phone with Dual-Star, and their maker of the taillight is no longer producing them. He said check back in a couple of MONTHS, an they may have some again. AAAAAGGGHHHHH!!!!

Question

why did u put on spoke weights? Are u running a rim-lock or did u just correct a shake in the wheel/tire? i am curious as i have a shake in the front since i put in a HD tube, but I am not running any rim-locks....I wonder if these weights would fix that or not.
