Dyno Shoot Out - Megabomb+PC4 vs Stock Header+DG-R

Dyno Shoot Out - Megabomb+PC4 vs Stock Header+DG-R
Red Curves - Stock Header (port matched) + DG-R Cost: $150.00
Blue Curves - Full FMF, Megabomb + Power Core 4 Cost: $530.00
Test Notes:
The Kustom Kraft Dynojet chart for a stock KLX is a complete Dynojet chart that looks valid. ( http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...rt_6_22_11.pdf ) It shows the stock KLX at 16.51 hp and 11.69 ft/lbs torque.
DynoJet Dyno, roll-on, runs, SAE CF (which corrects for air temp, humidity, altitude, and engine temp.) Bike was run hot with no tricks to inflate numbers. Runs were only minutes apart -( I changed exhaust systems with welders gloves.) The full FMF system was run first.
Setup notes :
Please see my signature line for the modification status of my bike.
The AFR's are finally within reasonable tolerance for max power production. It took the #132 jet and raising the needle one notch (1 notch lower clip position on the needle ) above Stage 2 instructions to finally stop the bike from running too lean.
Let the analysis begin !

So, I'm studying the charts myself.. The stupid simple math - easily repeatable even while snot-slinging drunk - is that the FMF lost about .45 lbft of torque and gained about 1.20 HP over the stock header+DG-R. When drunk, that'll change to 1/2 lb ft and 1 1/4 hp...
FMF has an inferior Trq curve below 6500 rpm - a superior Trq curve above 6500.

Absolutely right ! The stock+DG-R would let you down , down there. lol

Check out how that Red Trq dip - starting at 4900 rpm - coincides precisely with a lean-out "bulge" in Red AFR.
If I could only determine how to stop that lean "bulge" , the Trq curve would certainly go even more in the DG-R favor.
