DRZ may be sold!!??...
Yep, you read right. The DRZ was put up for sale by me and I had a guy tonight looking at it and test riding it. Right now I just don't have time to ride this bike or any bike hardly at all. This is why the HD is up for sale as well. When they both sell, if they do I will look at a 2007 KLX250 again as at least with this bike I won't have to feel guilty not riding it. The DRZ rocks as I've stated, but to get dirt wheels/tires, it takes at least $750 or so. I do love the SM, but I do not feel it is worth $2000 more than my KLX for what I can use it for right now. For the amount of riding I can do right now, I do not need a brand new sub $6000 bike sitting in the garage beside a very nice HD. They both gotta go. When that happens, I will be in the market for a 2007 KLX, or may wait on the 2008. I miss the KLX's versatility, but will still concede that it won't be as fun as the DRZ in the engine dept. Well, just thought I'd let you all know. Maybe you could care less. Either way, all the votes won't get me out of here.

RE: DRZ may be sold!!??...
well, LOL, that's kind of funny. because lastnight I was looking into slip-on systems since all the experts say keeping the stock header gives more low end than a full. Like i said, i'd have to ride both back to back. But, ifI do indeed buy another KLX, I will give myself a $500 limit on mods. I'm thinking some type of slip-on, new grips, 13-toother and forget the 45-rear because frankly, the 13 did a lot more than adding the 45 with it, air filter and individual jets. Of course this is really hypothetical, but hey I like to plan for the future. As much as I love the DRZ and think it has amazing potential with the addition of dirt wheels/tires and keeping the SM wheels for road use, I just cannot justify keeping it if I can get my money back on it. I am so buys with school/work/family right now I do not have the time like I thought I would when I bought it.Dealers around here do not like to budge on these, at least the ones who still have them. Mine is on craigslist for $5500 with under 200 miles on it. If it doesn't sell, it's okay too. I can trade the SM wheels/tireson ebay and buy some Excel's but I am greedy and want both. I guess I'm just really missing the dirt. Those darn inverted forks really got me when I opted for the SM.

Dude if you were a carnival ride I would have tossed my lunch by now. I have never known anyone who changes gears more than you while not on a bike.[8D] Of course I'm just messing with ya, I knew you would come back to the KLX, they always do. Hey but seriously I looked for you bike on Craigslist, I don't see it, just wanted to let you know in case something went wrong with the post.
Nobody has stirred up as many emotions and heated posts as you and perhaps you have stepped over the line a time or two, but that's what makes the world go around. I would like to see a spirit of cooperation from you and everyone here as we try to heal the past, oh no I'm not asking for a feel good Kumbaya touchy feely sort of thing, just a little less drama, and more good information. I don't think you should go anywhere either, after all your getting near the Island and we want to come up with a good name for ya. Let us know what you end up doing.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

LOL I had to look up fwiw just to make sure you weren't dissing me. Forgive me I am a noob in a lot of things. Anyway this is what I came up with.
FWIW is an abbreviation often used in text based communications. Below is an example of how this could be used in chat.
[blockquote]
User1: FWIW I think you're pretty.
User2: Thanks.
LOL what a funny world we all share. Later man.[/blockquote]

not quite sure what "baggin it out" refers to, can you clarify? btw, my KLX was a very nice bike which I modded myself. It ran extremely well for what it was. I never said I didn't like the bike. Just that it is underpowered and a little old in design.
