I saw a guyonce at Pittsburgh Raceway Park who raced a CR500. He had the forks lowered in the triple clamps to where he had about 2" of travel, and he took the rear shock off and put a strut in to make it a hardtail. He hadstreet tires on it,and a rear sprocket thediameter of atuna can. It ran high-9's at around a buck-thirty. It just seemed strange to hear a 2-stroke do a burn-out.
