Default Dropping in an MX motor

How complicated would this be? I am thinking it would be awesome to have a legal kx250..err maybe more of a KDX 250 of course it wouldn't really be legal but the VIN number on the bike would say otherwise. I saw some used engines for less than the cost of the 300 kit.

This would be perfect for me as I really just want an MX that I can ride on the street for a couple miles

That was one of my original plans but the stealership told me I would not be able to register it no matter what mods were done.

I would like to check out the Husqvarna unfortunately the stealership will not let me out of my contract. I am stuck with the KLX unless you know a lawyer that will work for free.
