RE: Droooool ....
But if Husky and Husaberg had bikes and parts more readily available as is with KTM, would it not make shopping for a ride more fun. The dealer near me sells Honda, Kawi,Ducati.BMW,KTM and they sell a poop load of KTM'S and have tons of parts. They tell me cause of its plateablity and its serious enduro set up are the main reasons why they sell. I would think that the Japense market would look at this and step up to the plate with one. On a recent ride in New England I saw many KTMS.

What good does it do to own an exotic if you can't ride it for months waiting on parts to show up? KTM used to be an exotic but, their dealer network is such I think that they are leaving that thought behind even though they aren't as popular as the Japanese models.
I'll give up that last little bit of exotic coolness for a KTM that I can get parts for and have dealer service when required without driving for 100's of miles and several hours. Of course, I've got some more learning to do before I'm ready for a dual sported KTM.

ktm should get with the program and offer a 250cc dualsport like the Husky. The Husaberg is a fine looking bike. They might might seem like exotics over here, but watch some world enduro championships and all of those husabergs, gas gas, tm's are the norm. Jap bikes are the minority in those events.

I don't think the Husa even has a place for a kicker. They must be pretty confident in their e-start.
I just love that new Husa. I bet that bike handles like a dream with the spinning crank closer to the bike's COG, and fuel weight carried low under the seat. Can't wait to see it in action in the '08 WEC.
