If I drill out the first baffle is there anything else i need to do to the bike and what gains would i get from doing it? Like would i need to change jetting,snorkle or anything else. Was just thinking of trying a free mod before buying a complete system.

 

I am pretty convinced that drilling out the first baffle basically does nothing except make the bike a tiny smidgen louder.

I did all the carb/intake mods first. Then I drilled out the first baffle and I really didn't notice any difference. I then drilled out all the way to the end and I still can't say I noticed any difference. If you think about it, it's barely any louder so how much more air could it be flowing.

That being said, the bike is running lean as is. I would do the carb mod before drilling the baffle and opening up the airbox.
