Previously, I had only changed the jetting on the carb, modified the stock muffler, and removed the snorkel. I decided to drill the slide out yesterday to an 1/8" instead of the recommended 7/64". Throttle response definitely improved with the mod. I'm pretty sure it is not just a mental thing either. Iwon't drill it any bigger than it is right now, but I am curious what the results would be if it was drilled larger. Based on the price of the slide to replace I will leave mine alone. Though, if someone wants to volunteer their left over CVK, I will be more than happy to experiment.
