Did you resolve this issue? if so how? I just broke a cheap harbor freight bit in mine while hand turning it slowly with my fingers. So frustrating. I think I found the part number for the push in jet, but not sure how people are getting them out. I'm thinking about drilling the jet out big enough to drill the broken bit tip out, but worry It'll just push it up in there more. Might try to freeze it or heat it up. Not sure just yet.

Could try a wood screw or similar thing to thread in slightly, if the tip bites into the brass, then pull the brass piece out. No idea if it will work, but a thought.

I've actually been thinking about looking for a small tap, then screw a bolt in and pull it out. I was originally thinking small screw as well, but worry I might only have one chance at this if it strips out. I'm thinking about freezing it first.
