Default DRCE2 Processor Board on KLX Edge Tail light?

Has anyone used this combo on their KLX yet? I saw the Edge light at 12oclockLabs, and it said you had to order this processor board for the integrated turn signals. Wow, that sounded fun. Legal? An invitation for stops by the boys in blue? Still, expensive but no signal breaking off...ever! Just wondering. New to this site. Very informative. Seriously.

people have been getting pulled over and ticketed up in northern california...i heard southern california is more lax with this....in california, it is illegal, but you'll have to check with your state laws to see if it's legal or not....some states don't even require turn signals on motorcycles...

Depends on your local laws. Utah DOT says there must be 6" between turn signals.

I have it and like it a lot. Really cleans the bike. My only advice is to use silicone between the lens and base plate, and where the wire goes in behind the base plate to seal it and make it waterproof.
I didn't do it and wasn't very happy when I opened it up to clean the lens. If I had done it, wouldn't even need to open it to clean it.

Default RCW 46.37.200 Stop lamps and electric turn signals displayed.

Turn signal lamps may, but need not be, incorporated in other lamps on the vehicle.
That's a quote from the WA. law, regarding rear signals or front. No distinction. Good to know the law.
Also, it says that fenders must "extend downward at least half way to the center of the axle".
That one alone is completely ignored by the KTM 350/500 street legal enduros on the back.
That is just a Washington law though.
