My 35 horse DRZ will smack it every time badly. It's just how it is.
Anytime you think you can drive deeper into a corner (on the street) then my KlX, I will be ready. It will smack you around!!! All the extra weight just sucks!!!

I didnt mean it would truly outpreform these bikes, just that they cant spank me anymore!!! Ive pulled ahead at points in the trail that have made them double-take, and my gearing is stock!! Its nice to get that "yank"when holding on to the bars from acceleration, something I didnt think I'd ever get on a KLX.

re-read my earlier post- the key is the BigGun. it makes tremendous power for the KLX. don't buy into this slip-on propaganda stuff. everyone in their right mind knows a full system is where the horsepower really is at. these reports about a 2-bros slipon making 2 or 3 horses is just that, a report. let's see some non 2-bros reported dyno reports backing that up.

. Have you tried any others, like the Muzzy? My brother has the BG and I am getting the muzzy any day now, hopefully I dont have to swap them out on him.

no, I have not. But there is documented dyno graphs floating around here somewhere where two KLX's, one with a BG and one a Muzzy, and the BG makes more power. granted there are a lot of variables that play into this.
another thing, the BG fits better than any other pipe out there. search around, there have never been any issues with BG's fitting. other mickey mouse setups such as HMF, 2-bros, muzzy, and fmf all have had some sort of discussion of fitment problems or being visually unproportional to the bike/fender/frame. JMO FOLKS!!!

Sorry chief my FMF hasn't had any fitment problems,and your B/g co. doesn't have any of these things to sell so I gave up! But one last thing, we all know how you feel about this pipe give the rest of these guys a break with hammering your thoughts home to all of us WE GET IT.............!
You no longer own one of these bikes so really stop with the BIG GUN hype! Maybe people don't want one and they like there slip on. JMO!

Really, it probably does not matter what it's called because it would be around you so fast that you couldn't read the letters or # . I almost bought a DZR400 before my KLX250S but I could not get over the goofy look of the thing. I will say most DZR riders are really nice because the are always saying who nice my bike looks.
Must be the Muzzy?? The seat on the KLX is 1000 % better then the Suzuki. I don't think I would like riding with something crambed up my butt. ( like 2X4 suzuki seat ) Some people might though??[sm=bustedsign.gif]
