Do you guys store it for the winter, or go out and start it every now and then?

I don't do anything.

The last 2 years, I left it parked out front of my house.
This year, I parked it in the shop.

We always get nice days in Dec, Jan, and Feb that I can ride in.

I leave the battery tender on over the winter, usually try and ride it about every 2-3 weeks. When I go out, it's for at least 30 minutes to make sure it gets up to operating temp. I couldn't bear to see the KLX sit idle for the whole winter (3 months) in Jersey, therefore I must keep it ready to ride.

I never put any fuel stabilizer in, and have not had any issues. I never drain the carb on all my other toys (snowblower, lawnmowers, leaf blower, chainsaws, ect), and really haven't had any issues related to fuel gumming up the carb. If you shut off the petcock and run it out of gas, that will get most of the gas out of the float bowl. I think there is also a little float bowl drain screw on the carb.

I mainly ride mine in the winter.
Nice and cool, bit of rain, mmmm perfect.

Not too keen on dirt riding when it over 32oC.

We had a lot of 30+ degree weather this past summer, and I put a lot of hours of hard woods riding in with my DS jacket, pants, and full equipment. It didn't work. I didn't lose any weight

hmmm, guess i should get a battery tender. i usually start it, and it runs for about 30 minutes while i shovel the driveway. every few minutes i go in the garage and rev it up to 4, then 5, then 6 just so it's not sitting at idle.

maybe this year i'll try "putting it away"... stabil in the gas tank, battery removed, get the tires off the ground.

+1 on tires. I park mine on some wood. concrete will suck the life out of the contact patch of the tire.
