Default "Do not install KDX 200 snorkle"

Mike from Dynojet says that I should not install the KDX 200 snorkel. Any thoughts on that?

People have been running without lids for a long time. I don't see how a larger snorkel would be bad.

Brien, I believe you are running a 124 main jet? How do you like it? What are some of the characteristics of how the bike handles with that set up? Mike from Dynojet thinks I need to back down the main jet size also.

I'm using a 128 main jet with my mods below. Other then some minor adjustments to the mixture screw I'm very pleased with the performance.

I have the 128 main in right now and I am not impressed with the take off. I want the front wheel to come off the ground a little bit better. The mid and high is where it shines. I want the power to feel like that from low, mid and high speeds. Thinking about dropping down to 124 main as suggested by Mike at Dynojet to see where I am at....

I would ask Mike if I were you. Maybe it is because of the Uni Filter...???

I wish I had a dyno machine at the house. I could try all the combos to see what works best. Too much guess work.

It seems that the KDX snorkle would be about the same size as taking the stock snorkle out of the airbox. In theory, same size opening..............
