Default Dirt Bike Trails Invaded

While this may not be KLX or dirt bike oriented, it did take place out at that ranch that I've mentioned before where we ride dirt motors on about 90 miles of trail. It's also where we had that state enduro at the end of February. In addition to the 90 miles of singletrack, there is a 40 mile Baja-style track that is super cool. It was the first event of this kind ever out at the ranch, and it was called the Blackwell 250. There were 40 baja level vehicles racing the 250 miles, with 6 of them being full-blown unlimited trucks. They also had a UTV race earlier in the morning with everything from hopped-up Odysseys to those new trailing arm Polaris Razors. While it was 4-wheel dirt racing instead of two, it was still awesome. Our dirt motor club help the organization put on this race with crowd control, pit security, and other activities. This is something new to Texas with racing at this level. The property owner of this ranch is a 10-time class winner in the Baja 500/1000, so they're big dirt fans. I was working pit security or I would have taken some action pics.

There's got to be more photos somewhere. That's something to see more of!

Even better - some vids?

There were two videographers there taking vid and still pics. I don't know if they were BRT, Baja Racing of Texas, guys or an off road media deal.

Nice!! When I read the title I thought it was a bad thing, glad the invasion was invited .
It's really great that the ranch owner wants to host all that off roading, good too that your club can provide the manpower. Sounds fun.
