Play time is over digital dashes were not uncommen in that era,Thats when the Japanese started playing with them, god pathetic Subarus.Serial #'s Pics would help.

My guess is that it's an aftermarket digital dash.

Big thanks to all who posted i stripped down drive and found it FUBAR! bits of magnet/plastic every where! Don't know wether to repair or not as the speedo is in Kilometers/hr and to pass MOT (DOT annual test) it needs to show miles/hr can they be changed? Previous owner said he just fitted a bicycle type speedo then removed it again afterwards. Sorry haven't got round to taking pictures yet but i will, been a bit busy changing original usd forks for a pair off a KX, still not got them dialled in perfect but notice a big different compered to standard set up. thanks again

Don't pay any attention to Oldphart, he's our resident Odis (Andy Griffith show town drunk) had to add that since there are too many young members on here.
