Did someone say a "Raped Ape"
So after all the recent problems that started with a failed thermostat to blown head gasket to Big Bore Kit to leaky gasket after the install to mistimed cam chain to bent valves to a functioning bike all back together. And let's just say that the money spent at the machine shop was well worth it. I should of had them put on the big bore kit and put the engine back together instead of the more expensive do it yourself when you have no idea what you're doing method. Anyway, the bike rips and I can't wait for the weather to clear so I can actually go for a real ride and break this sucker in. I am happy I went with Bill Blue's 351 kit and you couldn't find a better guy to deal with. Thanks for the help with my little problems over the last few weeks. I'll post some pics when I have some time to clean her up.

EeeHhaa!
Big bore kit in my bike 400 miles ago, 36mm pumper carb installed waiting for proper jets. Snow on the ground and about 5* f outside right now. I want to ride too.
The 351 makes it a whole different machine.

I couldn't have described it any better. I ran it real quick yesterday and it's like organized chaos compared to what it was. The front wheel wants to lift as the torque is much improved. Now I have to figure out a way to translate some of that torque into top end speed or maybe I should just leave it well enough alone for awhile since I have already used up 8 of my 9 lives.
