At first I was all, "Is he serious? do these people talk to new commers like this all the time?" I'd like to thank you Iowaguy for the welcome!

Kind'a funny he's the one crying for moderator intervention. Deej's Blackberry will begin to sputter and belch out dark smoke if he tries to keep up with IG's trail of destruction. I'm just waiting for what this year's hurricane season has in store for their "I" storm's name. Oh, looks like it will be "Ingid" this year. I beg to differ. [&:]

RE: Did I go with the wrong bike?
*Sigh*
If only I had a truck, a drivers license, and the time to buy a used WR250 and get it plated
Well, one and two are easy, I have friends that can help me there, but I can't afford to be cutting class just to get my motorcycle inspected and plated.
The week before I started looking into the KLX, my uncles friend had sold off his 04 WR250 for 1500!
BASTARD!
I'm thinking that maybe I should stop THINKING about my bike, and just start RIDING it more.
Then maybe I won't care as much about what i'm on.

At first I was all, "Is he serious? do these people talk to new commers like this all the time?" I'd like to thank you Iowaguy for the welcome!I was just discussing, and definetly willing to accept I am wrong... and all of the sudden I check back, and all hell broke loose! I read your post and was trying to sort the ways I could be nasty back... But read furthermore and realized that I don't need to, because you've been burnt, over and over and over and over and over......
Guess I've learn'd my first kawasakiforums.com lesson, and that is who the real **** around here actually is
On the KLX note. Today I was in to look at the new 450r, because thinking I want to buy one maby next year, hopefully like this fall... Found it to be priced at $8999 cdn... But I sat on that, and just the difference in feel and weight. It fealt like a feather under me. Just felt so..... can't explain.. But I want one!!
I wonder why they can't make our klx's that light? This thing felt like 100ibs lighter, I know it wasn't, but... uggghuhguhgugughuhugugu *homer drools

hey yo, beginner- go to www.suzuki.com and look at the DRZ400 specs. in there you will find the listed dry weight, it will be exactly identical to the KLX250S. stop making an **** of yourself and accept that you're wrong. a bike weighing the exact same weight but making over twice the horsepower is going to be the bike I'm on, doesn't matter what terrain we're riding. get your facts straight before you try and prove me wrong.

Oh give IG a break already.
Oh give IG a break already.
Everybody on the planet except IG KNOWS the KLX is lighter than the DRZ "mother pig". If you insist on comparing the off road only DRZ to the KLX then compare it to the off road only KLX450. Once again yellow pig V's Mean,Lean and Lime Green.
Kawasaki = home run
Suzuki = yawn

RE: Did I go with the wrong bike?
The KLX seems like an itty bitty DRZ.
It'll do everything the DRZ can, and that's pretty much anything, just not with as much spunk as the DRZ.
Or at least not as much spunk in the straight aways [8D]
