Default Dial-a-Jet

So, I'm picking a 1993 KLX650c today and of course I'm already looking at upgrades. As if double the horsepower isn't enough! Dial-a-jet seems to work pretty well for the KLX650 according to the experts.

Anyone used this before on the KLX250?

Not on a KLX but my old V-twin Kawie Prairie 650 bored out to a 750.

I had a dual setup and it worked great. You have to lean out your main jet on your carb for them to work. Make sure they get fresh air too, usually the air line filter gets run up to the handle bars.

Once it is setup then you have adjustment for different air temps, humidity, elevation, etc. Just turn and screw and it leans or riches either way you need to go? The throttle response is better also.

Give them a call if you have any questions. Great people to deal with!

That's what I thought but apparantly not. You can even route a switch up to your handlebars so you can enrichen or lean out on the fly. Now that is awesome right there. The guys who put it on their klx650 swear by it. I won't since I got just a shimmed stock needle and it's pulling really hard, but I thought it was a pretty cool product.

Maybe the reason it's not as popular is that it's at least twice as much as a dynojet kit, and a dynojet kit is maybe even twice just buying OEM jets/slides.

Oh, anyone got a 132 main dynojet lying around I could have? I lost mine.
