98 dB is *TWICE* AS LOUD as 95 dB.

I wanted to keep mine in the 94-96 dB range.
It's not as loud as rice burners or harleys, that's all I care about

Besides are we talking about loudness or intensity at this point?

Why does it look ugly? I don't know anything about the performance effect or the lack thereof, but the can looks much like the Muzzy muffler, which IMO is among the best exhausts available. IMO, if you want ugly, some of these stock mufflers with the garden tractor tips grafted into the butt plate are the epitome of ugly. But then...that's the problem with "ugly"...tends to be in the eye of the beholder.

I don't know...maybe just anything that improves flow and performance is worth it no matter what it looks like.

Sweet video Savage! It was a lot of help.
I wasn't saying it was ugly. Lol just not quite as pretty as the carbon 2 bros. but your right. It is IMO the most attractive price to can ratio.

looking to get an exhaust and like the price point of the DG.
anybody know if the 2009+ version can be made to fit a 2007?

EDIT:
option 1 = no, looks like mounting is different for 2009+
option 2 = klx300 exhaust and get a header to match
