Default DG good or bad?

Hello
So I just got a 09 klx 250sf and I want to mod it. I don't mean to bother anyone on this subject, but I can't seem to find any solid info on the quality of this can. Does anyone have experience with other exhaust and either the O or R sieres DG muffler that can let me know if the quality is good compared to others. I know it's really cheap and that's why I care so much.

Thanks

I've started threads on it, they have about 5 total on this exhaust. It works just fine, it hasn't fallen apart. Best can for the money IMO.

I have it and it seems well built. I put a silencer tip in it and it worked (cut noise down and didn't hurt power) but the silencer rattles a bit. I need to put a washer or something in there to snug it up.

Overall, very happy with the bang for the buck.

From the info I have seen on the DG muffler, they're one of the loudest pipes out there. That's why I passed on getting one...

98 decibals, unless your WFO everywhere, it's not loud at all. The two bros is way louder!

Wow guys. Thanks for all the great feed back. I'm definitely getting one. From the looks of it, the pipe is a good deal, maybe not as pretty as some of the more expensive ones, but does the job and looks decent. Does anyone recommend the R vs the O for build quality?

They are the exact same besides the end tip, do you like a pointy (Round) muffler tip, or a smooth flashy (Oval) tip

Here's mine.

I just recently repacked it after a year of use, but I don't think it needed it.

Here's how she sounds while out riding.

You do realize how dB works, don't you?
98 dB is *TWICE* AS LOUD as 95 dB.

I wanted to keep mine in the 94-96 dB range.
