Deej and the hunting trip
Well I made it back in one piece, here are a few pictures, and if I can come up with something funny I might post it, but I have to get to bed, we decided to leave in the morning for the Motorcycle class, and after I drop off the wife, I'm hitting the gun shops to see what's out there for my new toy.
Its too bad we didn't have a tag for one of these, but I suppose some farmer would be pretty mad if one came up missing.
Some fall colors, man I was beat running......ok walking......ok crawling and wheezing up and down the hills. But all in all I had a blast. I didn't come back with anything but I did have fun.
Awwwww check out this little guy.
Ok this photo has a story, but I didn't get all the information, but evidently it was constructed in the valley, in parts of a 25 mile water trough to get water from lakes to farm land, and dates back to the 30's or earlier, I was facinated by all of it, there are sections all over the place, I still don't see how they even got up there to do the work, very interesting, I'm gonna look into it further.
Here are a few pictures of where a friend and I hunted the first day, its called Hell's Half Acre, but it should be called Hell's 5,000 acres. I was so sore the next morning I didn't even go out hunting, I slept in until 11:00 and they dragged me out of bed for a late afternoon hunt. My calves are still tight, but I still had fun......I think.
My wife calling to see if I shot my foot off yet, no not really, we were bored and decided to take a few shots, and of course I had to pose with the Blackberry
Mike with the trusty flask
You talking to me?
Hey Mike? I think I see something over there that needs cleaned[8D]
Well that's it, now I'm off to bed, later guys.

Here in PA, you have to wear a certian square inch amount of orange, The camo orange, not just all orange is better, it breaks up the contrast between just a orange spot and some orange with trees in it...

400 inches or blaze orange required, and deer are suppose to be color blind, so the camo is just to camouflage you into the shades, and the orange so some noob like me doesn't get buck fever and shoot some guy that is wearing an antler hat.
