Dead Battery !
im not able to get in enough ride time to keep a good charge in the battery and its almost dead everytime i go to start the bike. can anyone recommend a good battery tender/charger, im looking for the kind with a pigtail you can attach to the battery so its easy to plug in.

I bought one at Walmart for ~$20 Black and Decker or Energizer, can't remember the brand. It came with the pig tail you permanently mount to the battery , also had a end with alligator clips. Has worked good for me for a year or so.

I just picked up the battery tender junior for $27 at Rocky Mountain ATV and it was on my door in a couple of days....and that's across the border and everything. Comes with a pigtail so you can leave the battery on the bike.

I have the perfect setup. It's really easy to do, and I have it on both my bike and the wife's Yamaha XT 225. It does not get any easier than this.
I installed one on my bike and the wife's XT 225, its a great mod, I can charge my cell phone, run the GPS, charge the battery with the maintainer, and jump the bikes if one of the batteries goes dead.
I used an aluminum CB antenea bracket drilled out.
The wife's bike, I used a bracket to mount the heated hand grips and the 12v plug.
Then instead of having to remove covers every time you want to top off the battery, all you have to do is to plug in the maintainer right through the plug.
Compact jumper cables.
