I'm in the tent too. LOL Not divorced, but two kids, and that will nickle and dime you.

LOL!...and I'm not knocking kids by any means. I'm the favorite "uncle" in our whole family circle, so I obviously don't hate kids...but...I guess I've always been too much of a kid myself to have any.

LOL!...you know...that's weird. In my photo library the pic is right side up. Not sure how that happened. However, I will say that on the first day out on the highway leaving home, I think the wind blew so freaking hard going through the panhandle of Texas that I could have ended up like that. I haven't seen a dust storm of those porportions in the Lubbock, TX area since I was a kid. I saw a double-wide mobile home upside down in the ditch and even a semi turned over due to high winds. I was amazed at the relative stability of my pickup and trailer in these winds, though I did have to slow down to 50-55 occasionally. It was epic. I had bought a fairly high quality receiver hitch and load leveling system that has a sophisticated anti-sway design built into it. Believe me, that section of the trip was an acid test.

Dan, that's not " Camping "
That's " Candyass Camping " !!!
Speaking of camping and tents, the darned bears destroyed my good Cabelas two-man tent and sleeping pads last Labor Day. We went on a campout two weeks ago so I had to get new equipment.
Not even close to TNC's Taj Majal, but it will do
Tent
Exped SynMat 7LW
Alite Mantis camp chair.
On the trails
This guy was showing off for his girlfriend. Think she was impressed?

Speaking of getting stuck, Scott, it's hard to believe in this pic that after a night's rain, I nearly wasn't able to get away from this camping spot. The ground looks all hard packed and solid, but this stuff was oatmeal after a good rain. The ol' Dodge pulled it out, however...and yes, Ron...it has a hemi.
Oh, I also have a shot of the bike as it sat outside the night before. All the mud on the tires is just from me pushing the bike into the back end...not riding. You could'a made bricks out of this stuff. I'm glad the floor in the back is made out of a tough and easily cleanable material...and the door is coated with a Rhino-liner type of material that has a rough texture...and it's easy to wash off.
