Sorry for the confusion. . . I was referring to c m shooter's reference about going to the dunes. I have done all the mods (except for a big-bore kit) to my '06 KLX250 and when I went to the dunes at Moses Lake, WA. last fall, I had to just flog the crap out of it to keep it planing on top of the sand. And, oh yeah, I have changed the gearing to 13T-51T. With stock gearing, you'd probably fry the clutch!

Does this Fender bolts and lines up with your bike since I do believe that we have the same model. (Unrestricted Japanese KLX250s with digital gauge)
Sir I have friends there in Saga Prefecture in Kyushu the only problem they don't know much about bikes

Yes, it bolts to the bike no problems, and even comes with mounting brackets that fit the Edge LED taillight perfectly. As for the black number plates, they are a little pricey, going for about $50 for the set, used but in good shape. Good looking bike, by the way.
