They line up with the holes for the speedo, and the holes for the oem light pretty good.
See where the nut and washer are on the bottom mount of the light? Under that I put a bolt through the hole that has the rubber grommett on it, put 2 nuts on for spacers, then the headlight mount, and then that washer and nut you see to hold it in place.

to each his own,,, is it as bright as the stock light? I might get a different bulb for the stock light.

+1 EMS, it definately looks different. I got mine to be different too, plus it only weighs like a pound, quite a bit lighter than the stock rigup. Thanks a million again green!

I seriously havn't driven the bike with the light on yet... I can't give an honest opinion. But I will once I do take it for a ride at night.
