Default Cutting down weight

I just bought a new 2010 and am a complete nube, first bike. I only weigh 145 and would like to cut down the weight of the bike.

So, what would you suggest doing first?I know there is some smog stuff that can come off, and would like to get some more power as well.

I am definitely going to put a new muffler on it, and am pretty sure that will shed some pounds. Which should I go with?

Would also like to get a bigger gas tank, I know more gas equals more weight. However I am going to be using it on long dual sport rides.

new pipe...fmf, 2 bros etc....less weight, added power.
REJET, remove snorkle from airbox......biggest, cheapest upgrade u can do and notice a huge difference
I weigh 210, and the bike moves great...at 145, u will do fine

What does everyone think about the two brothers m-7 full system?

Also if I remover the snorkel, wont it get water in it. Ill be riding on trails where we go through a bunch of creeks, etc.

I dont know much about the two bros exhaust. It is a popular one to use. Seems FMF is on these bikes more. I have the full FMF and love it. Always had FMF on my other dirtbikes. You can buy a KDX200 snorkle and it will fit no probs where yer stock snorkle is. Its bigger for more air. Thats what I have on mine. I havnt gone through deep water or anything but I'd rather have a snorkle on my bike than none at all IF I was doin alot of water crossing. You can remove the smog stuff on the front of the head. Just plug off the fittings. Bill Blue I think makes a smog delete plate. I have my stock plate plugged for now till I buy his product.

if your a noob, i would say just get use to the bike, over time youll grow more as a rider and holding the bike wont be a thought. if anything, i would think its more of a height problem then weight, and to solve that it would be a lowering link and dropping the forks.

@Foesweasel2001: *I have the 2bros slip on. If you go for that one too, I'd recommend ear plugs while you're at it. *It's ridiculously loud. *They sell an extra end cap insert which helps somewhat but it's still pretty obnoxious...
