CRD Skid Plate
It was my understanding that CRD no longer made a skid plate for our bike, but I found the following link.

He has it posted on page 8, the skid plate page, that skid plates are not available at this time. Hmmm, I'm not sure if I like that skid plate or not. I may have seen pics of that a few years ago.

I got one of theCRD skid plates for my wifes bike then I wanted one for my bike. Like you I found themno longer made so I made a flat pattern of her skid plate & made one for my owne bike Since then I have made a couple of them. I haven't figured the cost for making one yet if you want one I will figure the price & let you know.

You might have seen this one on Maverick'sRide of the Month. I really like the looks of them. They really look sharpwhen you see them outside of a photo.
