Default CRD Bashplate mounted

Finally was able to drag the bike outsideto get some pics. Here's a shot of the CRD bashplate mounted. These are available through Bill Blue, but they are not cheap.

Thanks.

Yeah, that plate is one of those things where I was willing to pay quite a bit extra because I like the looks of it so much. You gotta really want it though, because it's about twice the price of the Utah Cylce plate, if I remember correctly.

That is the best looking KLX out there! I wish they would bring the tracker to the states.

Yeah, Kawi is really missing out on a market segment by not bring it stateside.

The sad thing about what is happening here in Japan is that they are going to fuel injection on the mid 08 model KLX and D-tracker, but there doesn't seem to be any mapping programs forth-coming from companies such as Power Commander. The WRX already has a power commander kit availablewith two or three maps. This same basic EFI system has already been in use on other Japanese market 250cc Kawi bikes, but there is absolutely nothing available to map them with unless you have the background of say Mooredan and can design and build your own....oh well..sigh. When mine finally bites the dust I might have to go with the WR for that very reason. I bet if Kawi brought this same EFI system to stateside KLX'sPower Commander would beright there with a program and mapping for it. [:@]

That's a beautiful bike.
I want you're rear fender, headlight, and tires and rims...

Oh and your skidplate... (that you don't really need)

The rims are Excels. They come as standard equip on all D-trackers 04 and later. My dealer ordered-up some yellow Excel decals for his. They set off the black rims nicely, but I don't want to get carried away to the point that it looks like a billboardfor free advertisement. He races regularly, sohethat make him look the part.
