Default Crazy Aussies

I came across a news article I found kinda funny. Since the american media never really talks about australia, unless its about kangaroos or something stupid.

It sound like one of those internet stories that are just not true.
But that happened here in WA and the police commisioner was on TV last night explaining what had happened.
So its true.

"O'Callaghan also said that while Mitchell did burst into flames after the Taser was deployed, it wasn't immediately clear if the stun gun actually sparked the fire.

"There is a very strong possibility the fire was caused by the lighter in the hand of the offender," he said."

Sounds like a cover up to prevent a lawsuit against the police deparpment. High voltage taser vs. lighter. Unless that lighter was lit, I vote for the taser that started the fire.

I am impressed that the american media didnt put a twist on this story. I know cnn could somehow blame michael jacksons doctors for the fire. Anyways, when neilaction said happened here in WA I had to think for a second. OH western australia........to me WA means washington state USA. And where I live

The story being told is that he was holding the lighter and petrol and was threatening police when the taser was fired.
Either way its a recipe for trouble.
And this happened in one of the most remote places in Australia.
Literally in the middle of the desert.

Obviously the idiot running toward the cop with the gasoline and a lighter cause the fire. Stop, put down the gasoline, and quit threatening cops with it and I suspect he never would have burst into flames. But that's me and my twisted logic.
