you could preload the shock a bit to drop it some but that also affects suspension. I lowered an 09 SF the expensive way (shortened front and rear shocks internaly) for the GF. I dont think the bike could get any lower.

So I understand, you didn't think there was any improvement with it being lowered 1"?

Did you adjust anything else to the rear suspension? Any adjustments?

Also, did you lower the bike at the front forks? Meaning, you "raised" the forks in the trees?
