Default Countershaft sprocket

So I order a sunstar countershaft sprocket for an XR650L I drive for 30 minutes both ways to pick it up. I get it home and the frikkin thing does not fit. There are 6 splines on the sprocket. The part number is 32013. Does anybody know the correct Sunstar part number? Is there a different spline for some years of the Honda 650? WTF? I have tried the search option but besides general info and arguments between you now who and whoever else I come up with no love. Any help would be cool.

That sucks man. I have a 15T for mine, have not tried it on yet.

Did you ride on the new wheels and street tires? How are they handling?

This is why I ask and ask yet again before I do something. Then ask once more while in the middle of it because you'll see people all saying the same thing, then you go do it and its not what you were told.

I have a Sunstar that is a 13t. And other than Sunstar, the only other thing on the sprocket is "342"

I ASSUME that the part number is 342, then add on how many teeth. SO, therefore in this case...PERHAPS the number is 34213 ????

How many times have we seen threads on here saying that all you have to do is order any sprocket for a XR650L? Guess thats not the case then.

HAHA, I don't know what to tell ya boss. Plus, I never said it said "34213", I said it was stamped simply "342". But, thats whats on there and it works perfectly. So whatever that sprocket is it works on the '06 generation KLX250S. I 100% garauntee it.
