I'll start off by saying me and the old lady haven't been doing well lately. Never cheated on her though, but have been talking to a long time friend on the phone (a girl, I know, bad boy). We were together for five years, and I thought I knew her pretty well, so I thought. My friend calls to chat and the old lady answers the phone I happpened to leave in the garage. The **** hit the fan, and I had enough time to get all of my stuff out of the house (that is leased in my name alone). I own the KLX and a 2004 Jeep Grand cherokee. After I got my things transfered to my sisters house with the Jeep, I went back to get the bike and stupidly left the Jeep there until I got a ride back to get it. BAM, she calls the cops and pulls a restraining order on me saying I threatened to kill her. Now she has MY Jeep, registered and financed in my name only, and I have to go through the court system to get it back now. I cannot even go to my house. Been jacked around for a week now trying to get my Jeep and what happens last night? Someone rips off my f**king bike at my sisters house. No garage, go figure. Called the cops, they didn't seem to give a s**t. I did have full coverage insurance at least. All this right before Xmas. No bike, no jeep, no house, no girl. Sorry to unload on you all, but I had to tell my story. It was stolen in Ocala,FL in the Silver Springs Shores area. Be on the lookout!! Bike has chrome bars with no cross tube, no seat strap, 1" missing from the clutch lever (dropped it and the ball end broke off), gutted stock pipe, 1900 miles, and was just cleaned. S**T S**T S**T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Wow, sorry to hear it man, what a rotten deal all around. What exactly did you do to **** off the Karma police?

On the flip side, to go off the handle like that is a bit much. Do you really want to be with someone that could do that to someone after spending 5 years with them?[:'(]

 

Here's the part I don't understand, if the house is in your name only, exactly how can you be the one that got booted?

 

I don't to EVER see her again. And now that the injunction is permanent, good, cause I don't want her near me either. I had the only income for the house for the past 5 years, and I was pretty much tired of being a gravy train for her anyway. I deserve better. And the house? Believe me, I had plenty to say, all in a nice calm voice, at the hearing. That's what the judge said, and wouldn't ya know it, it was a woman judge -another go figure. The judge even said she's not going to make my ex give me MY freakin car!! Oh I'm fighting it alright. Been on the phone with the Sheriffs Office, the court house filing for amenments to get MY stuff, the realtor who I rent from, lawyers, everything. Even though the car is mine, I've been told by the sheriffs office, the police department, and the court house, and I no one will escort me to the house to get my thing without a court order. So, I'm going through this battle the legal way, without getting arrested. I hate the court system, and I hate the "law" which favors lying bi**es.

 

The jeep is your's, I would call a tow company & have it towed off the property. Is it sitting or is she driving it? You can't be charged withrecovering your own property.

 

I cannot go within 500 feet of the house, which she keeps the car in the garage. AND I can't go within 100 feet of the car. I've already been told by the cops and sheriffs, if I try to take the car, I'll be arrested- even though it's mine. Even if I have someone else get it for me if she parks it in a store parking lot. If I don't get it back within this week, I will call the finance company and tell them to repo it. Hell, I'd get more satisfaction paying for the difference after they auction it off knowing she's not driving my car on my dime.

 

Edit......I know a cop in your area....regarding the tow of your car that don't sound right.

Zapit, tow your jeep as said above asap (repo guys). Post a couple pics of your bike here (I'm in jupiter Fl) I'll post em on the Fl Flea section at the adv site....they ride ONF all the time and also on S. Fll Sportbike site.

Let it go and don't do nuthin stupid.....the girl got all the power in Fl......you can get even in the long run....but thats a year away.

PS..... when things settle down a little.....I got a couple Mole bikes...ktm 640 adv and a lil klx250......ya ever ride at your forest.....let me know if ya want to let off a little steam in the sand and mud

 

That's how I've been venting myself, riding and riding hard. Now I can't even do that............Life's a beotch...........

 

Man, that's the Suck! Do you have a good lawyer? If he helps you get your house and your Jeep back, it could be worth it. From your end of this story, it sounds like your getting the shaft. It's your Jeep, I can't see any way that it would be illegal to retrieve it.

 

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes zap,here in maine they have the same crazy laws,you can own the place and if the woman says you threatend,your out and she lives in your place with the man gets screwed.My sister is going through a nasty divorce and she had her husband thrown out and she lives in the house??? WTF is up with that? Even though it's my sister it's wrong but she has her man hating friends pushing her to get all she can. She had her husbands 57 chev in the garage and he had to be escourted but a cop to get it and some of his clothes.At least my brother in law is smart enough to go after her 66 stang that he bought her.My father was telling me now she's going after her husbands 401k and she has her own[:@]family or not it's wrong.....My .02cents
