So...I now own a $400 KLX 650 of an unknown year located in Watsonville, CA.
The big problems - it doesn't run, I live in New Hampshire, and won't be in the state until the end of September(wedding in Big Sur).
I have half a mind to fly out early and try and get it running in my motel room, then ride it to the wedding...yeah, that plan is fraught with peril.
But in reality, need to arrange for storage until I can spend some time trying to get it running to ride home or if worse comes to worse, ship it and fly home.
Does anyone here live near Watsonville and be willing to pick up my clunker and store it at their place for three or four weeks?
Probably ship it but thought I'd try you guys first.

top ends would starve of oil and toast the heads. Good ones are hard to find. Just saying might not be a hotel room repair. If you do go that route....ask for a ground floor room...
