Default Is this correct for stock exhaust?

I recently put in a the 128 main, 40 Pilot, with N1TC eclip 2 from top. I have the firstbaffle plate drilled, kdx snorkle, backfire screen removed, notoil filter and a/f at 2 turns. I hadthe 125main/35 pilot setupand found thatI put the brass clip under the eclip and not above. (D$%# noob's!!) It runs good top end, but noticed a slight bogging from idle to 1/4 throttle.

Just wondering.

Thanks

my guess is you're too rich for the exhaust. those are mods done with a full system and even though you've drilled the stock exhaust, it didn't accomplish much.
also, what setup are you running now? you say you've "had" and then you "recently" are running whatever. What are you running as you type with low end problems? I'd say the 40 is too big. I used the stock 35 when I ran my BigGun full exhaust at 2.5 turns on a/f screw.
me thinks you're getting too much gas early and then it finally burns by the time the top end kicks in.

Yep, way to rich for the stock exhaust - keep it as is and buy a HMF slip-on muffler for $240 - problem solved!

Man, and all this time I thought those jets were just for the free mods. CRAP! Last summer I put in the 125,35 and did the mods. I noticed a big difference but it still felt like it was lacking some where. Then I read a post last week with "put the brass ring above the needle" and I just knewIdid it wrong. So, I thought, "lower needle, less fuel - bigger jets!" And it seemed to get worse.I have found a nice lil place to trail ride so Ihave been playing with the gearing. Right now I am running 13/48 and its great.

Big Lou -I think I could manage to do what you did. Could youexplain a little of how you did it, and about the pipe you inserted?

Would drilling out the stock exhaust completely, help anything atall? (the wifeis cutting the bike funds)
