Default copper glitter in oil

Figured it was time. The oil I drained out of the bike didn't seem overly burnt or anything. There was a substantial amount over very fine copper colored glitter. Nothing of note in the oil filter, no knocking, overheating, pinging or any other issues of note. Runs great and idles great.

Normally being a mechanic, I would say I should be very worried, should I be?

In an engine that is "not" a shared crankcase and tranny design, you shouldn't see that color. But in an engine setup like the KLX it's not unusual as long as the particles aren't large or obviously too thick in the oil. What is "large" and "too thick"? You usually know it when you see it...or have it analyzed or inspected by someone classified as an expert.

Good to hear. Its been running pretty good since I've sorted the jetting. Turns out the throttle arm was likely rubbing on the connector for the fuel line on the tank. All fixed now.
