Default Cool Running in NFLD

Had a nice little ride today. Took off at 0830 and got back home at 1630. Put in almost 400 kms. Best ride the year.
Although the sun was a blazin', the air was fairly cool - 4 degrees Celsius. But, believe it or not, I think a fly actually bounced off my visor at one point!
Can't wait for the snow to get off the trails tho.....this pavement stuff gets boring real fast. But it's better to be on pavement than on nothing at all.
Anyway... some pics for your visual pleasure:

And last but not least-- my visit to the Root Cellar Capital:

Thanx for looking. I had a blast.

You Newfies are tougher than me.

I'm holding out for 10 degrees.

I understand your impatience for hitting the trails, but you probably have so much more riding areas close to you than most of us do... Thus I consider you lucky, even though our summer is a bit longer

I was supposed to be out of work this summer, planned to take it off, and head east, as it's one of my life goals to ride NL. I have friends from all over the island, so finding a place to stay should be easy. There's no shortage of friendly there

Here, it hit 91F the last day of March, 94F yesterday.
I have my cooling vest ready for when it gets above 105F...
