Default cool and easy way to mount license plate

was bored of the same ole look so i got rid of the stock mount and drilled 2 holes where the brake light screws go, drilled all the way threw it and put some 6-32 bolts in there with washers, and nylon locking nuts. just thought i would share the idea =)

as you can see in the 2nd picture my old plate snapped off while trail riding haha

Interesting. I so very nearly got the hack saw out this weekend and did that but stopped coz I wasn't sure how it would look. I tried to fit a generic LED light but it's mounting points didn't match up nicely so aborted it. Your setup doesn't look too bad. Thanks for posting.

hmmm wonder how long my number plate is going to stay on the back of my bike lol
ohhh well if mine ever snaps off or breaks then i might as well bolt it on

Looks real good. I had mine like that for a couple weeks till i got tired of it and ordered one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_2850wt_856 and made my own mounting system. came out great. Ill take some pics and put them up if you care?
