Default Convert KLX 250 to EFI?

Has anyone tried to convert a KlX 250 over to EFI? What would be some of the pros and cons?

For what reason? The carb works just fine.. Unless you're doing some crazy elevation changes or something.. .

I could think of about thirty better ways to spend the money on the bike!

Get the TM33 pumper carb from Bill Blue and install a Holzman ATACC on it and you have EFI without the complication. The ATACC won't work well on the stock CVK carb.

If you're that geeked about EFI, at what price point do you just sell it and buy a WR?

That question was directed squarely at you, wildcard. Answer, or suffer the consequences.

She looks pretty tough, but I think you can take her wildcard.

Ahh, I didn't mean that. I got stabbed by one of those sharp spears hidden in my french cut green beans, and I lashed out. I apologize.

Ok, still confused.

I was being facetious, maybe that didn't come across. I think EFI is one of the most overrated and overhyped "upgrades" on motorcycles since i first strapped on a helmet in 1986.

I would never sell my KLX to get a WR. A fully decked KLX can actually produce MORE power than the "superior" WR250R.
