RE: Common Part Numbers
Thanks for the response guys, I've been lurking around this site for a while and there is some really good info here!
I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada, bought my 06' KLX250 this time last year, still mostly stock, just broke 10,000 Km (approx. 6200miles)yesterday and still lovin it!
Thanks again.

RE: Common Part Numbers
So I went up to 45t in the back. You think the 13t in the front is the right choice? How much will I lose off the top end? I have the big gun evo x installed with the dynojet kit. Lovin' it, but maybe looking for a little more power.

RE: Common Part Numbers
I didn't lose any power up top because the stock gearing couldnt really carry me through the powerband in 6th. So with 13/45 I go as fast as I want. As for wishing for more low end power, I'll never be happy unless it can flip me over on my back

I am not sure about the carb but our KLX300 fuel tank fits on the klx250s perfectly.
Thanks,
Brian

What is the outlook for the availability of an Acerbis fuel tank that fits my bike. I also have an aftermarket Mikuni TM33 pumper carb, and I'm not sure if this would affect the limited space for a bigger tank. Any ideas, suggestions, comments?
