Cold Starting with a Fuel Primer

I've read differnt posts in the past but the primer bulb is installed right after the fuel shut off line then just goes to the gas port on the carb? Correct. I've seen smaller primer bulbs on snowblowers etc, and they have a seperate gas line and goes into the top of the carb. Help?! Pics? thanks

You could make it as complicated as you want it seems the OP chose not to.

so best just go directly from shut off valve to gas inlet of carb? worse case if you squeeze to much fuel it goes to overfill line?
