Default Clutch questions - EBC

I had a mechanic change out my stock clutch plates and springs with new ones from EBC.

With the new plates and springs installed, the clutch didn't feel as good as before. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't better than before.

I rode it for awhile and finally decided to open up the clutch and take a look at things.

I thought I read somewhere that with aftermarket plates (7 of them) you do not reinstall the jugger spring and washer. Is that correct???? They were installed on my bike.

Also, must I offset the 7th friction plate in the 15 degree notch? My former mechanic didn't do that.

I got the stock plates with Barnett springs & has stopped the slipping after fitting big bore kit & feels good on the clutch hand. works well for me!

A guy called jeffward on this forum uses kx125 plates, as they fit & have more friction surface area than stock plates. He also uses Barnett springs with good results.

EBC springs are too weak. Barnett replace them and end the problem.
The friction plate system at 15 ° may be canceled. I have not noticed differences.

I read the same thing about the jugger spring after putting mine together with EBC dirtracer kit and Barnett springs. The jugger is in weather its supposed to be or not. 7th plate installed like this:

Thanks for the picture! I'll put mine in that way.

Where did you install the jugger? Outside the 7th friction plate?

If you look at my 351 Build thread, RaceGass asked me in post if I ran the "judder" plate. I used all the parts that were there originally, except replacing stock disks, plates, and springs with the EBC and Barnett stuff. I believe the judder plate was one of the first parts to go into the basket with the EBC parts stacking on top. Check the manual or exploded parts diagram.
