Clutch cable cross-reference?
Guys,
Kawasaki has a different clutch cable part number for 2007 KLX300, 2007 KLX250S and 2009 KLX250S.
We all know the bikes are almost identical....
Does anyone know if the 2007 KLX300 or 2009 KLX250S clutch cable would fit the 2007 250?
The reason I'm asking, Motion Pro doesn't list a cable for the 2007 250 but they do for the new 250 and for the 300. Wonder if one of those would drop in....

Yeah, there seems to be a chasm of information around clutch cable replacements. Personally I would think it's worth taking the punt that the cable will fit - but that doesn't really help you does it?

Are you suggesting there is a link between the suspension travel and the cable length? Because if you are I have no idea what the link is. The cable does not travel across and suspension component - it routes from the lever down past the steering head, down near the radiator, then along the engine case to the clutch shaft insert.
