Default Cleveland national forest ride report

I went on a very long ride on sunday to look for some trails. The closest trails to my house is about 45 miles. I rode 185 miles in an 8 hour span and never again will I do that! My butt was killing me and my hands were numb from the vibration on the bars. I haven't been on a trail since I broke my leg last december. On my way over there, I saw an 09 klx250s on the side of the road with nobody around. I stopped to make sure everything was ok and I couldn't find the owner. The bike had a flat front tire and it still look pretty new. Here are some pics!

This is the abandoned klx...

Nice! Great photos.

I know what you mean about the long rides... I went almost 50 miles after waiting several weeks for my shoulder to heal. 50 is a far distance... But 180+ - You da man!!

What trails were you on and where did you enter?

Nice pics JP, hopefully the owner of the abandoned bike was able to get it home. He needs to join us here so we have another rider nearby.

Looks like fun. I'd hate to be riding behind you, it looks like that dry dirt would produce one hell of a smoke screen.

Awesome ride report and pics. Yea the bike looks great, and those long rides...well you just have to stand on the pegs. I did 140 miles two weeks ago, and if it wasn't for standing a lot of the time, I wouldn't be able to walk. That was weird about the bike all abandoned there. Did you write down the plate number so you could get a hold of the guy for a ride?
