When its time to start worrying about the chain, its probably about time to replace it. I don't use anything that will wash out the grease inside the chain, or anything water based cause it'll rust. Maybe use wd 40 lightly after washing. Use maxima chain wax to minimize fling.

What do you guys think about Flossing your chain?

A co-worker has an R1 and he thoroughly cleans it and flosses it. I told him i never heard anyone do that before.

I have a lot more time than money, but not that much! I'm betting even Deej doesn't go that far.

It only takes him 45 min to floss it and clean the chain.

Chain gets brushed with diesel, and hit with some silicone spray. It keeps mud and muck from sticking to it. We ride in the sand here in Florida, and sticky lubes are a death nail for drive gears and chains.

BTW what tire pressure do y'all run .

I run Amsoil, change it at 1000 miles.

Scorpion XCMS Front, Trakmaster II rear.
