Clarke tank Question ?

Show us some pics..."Go on mista!"

I'm sticking with the Acerbis. 3.2 gallons usable plumbed stock and the last bit can be had with a little leaning and rocking. I'd rather have the 3.7 gallons and have to mess around a little to get it rather than not have it at all. NO fitment issues. No relocating or removing of things. It just bolted in.

RE: Clarke tank Question ?
The Clarke works great for me. Shimming it up 1/4" was no big deal at all. The gap is way overstated...not a problem unless you want a show bike. Then, this is the wrong bike anyway. VFR Pilot used a strip of green tape in the gap and it looks fine. Nice touch, actually. I like the added range and the fact it's plastic.

RE: Clarke tank Question ?
I do like the stock look but unlike many, the Acerbis look sort of appeals to me too. I did save the tank and stock shrouds so if I get too much of a hankering for the stock look, I can certainly go back. I just looked up the Clark tank. 2.7 gallons vs 3.7. We ride deep enough in the woods, I better stay with the Acerbis but that Clark looks like a nice option. Can you seethrough the colored tanks? I can see into my Acerbis just enough to see the fuel level at a glance which is kind of nice. Does the clark require all that fan relocation/replacement nonsense that the IMS tank does?
