Default CLARKE TANK LEAK!

Is clarke replacing these defective tanks? I have had it for over a year but I know this an ongoing problem with these tanks hitting the frame. It leaks at the fuel fitting.

Give them a call. I would think that they would stand behind it due to it being a problem.

I just wish they would retool & make it right! Is it so hard just to make a good product right the 1st time?

they are exchanging the tank at no cost, all I have to do is ship it to them.

Despite the fit and finish issues with the Clarke, its good to see that they stand behind there product.

Absolutely they are standing behind the product. I sent mine in after 6 months. No questions, send it in (paid to ship it), bingo, new tank in a few days( they paid to ship it), and I'm a happy camper/
Give Clarke the benefit of the doubt if you have a leaker, they'll help you.

Mine fits great...in fact it fits better than the stock tank, the shrouds bolt in better. It just started leaking at the fuel tubes exiting the tank. After 6 months. Go figure
