Patrick, was talking with them directly, as soon as he got the bike he was on thier case about making a tank, he has been asking them for like a year.... and its almost finally done....

I'm new to the forum and just registered due to the fact of the gas tank post.

I assume you are talking about a tank for the klx230 you have.

I have a Pitster Pro X4 that is klx 110 based for the tank, and plastics. I have wrote Clarke about a larger tank for the klx110 but haven't heard anything from them regarding this.

I see they make one for the crf50 so I assume that the klx is coming soon. I would love to have the extra fuel due to the fact that I am planning on making my bike street legal fora lil summer fun.

depending on your state you'll need dot approved tires, head, tail and brake light with turn signals, a mirror(at least 1) and possible a horn, I am not sure about the speedo, but I'll be putting one of those trail techs on mine. get her inspected and you'll have a street legal bike.


However I received an email back from Clarke regarding this issue and they don't have plans to make a klx tank at this time..do you think you guys could email them with requests for this tank...and maybe it will happen.?
