Chopping Rear Fender Question...

Not wanting to totally screw up my new fender......I started with the removal of the big red reflector first. I definitely like it a lot better now but I'm sure I'll move up the fender and cut more off soon. By the way, legally, do you need the reflectors on the back fender and license plate?

I looked it up and at least in PA you are required to have a red reflector on the back of the bike. Guess I will have to see what I can do by moving stuff around.

You don't need reflectors, In most places you just need a mirror, head light, and tail light.

OK "in most places" you don't need reflectors. I wouldn't sweat it even in PA. Most likely the cops wouldn't even notice or say anything, and if they did the would likely give you a warning.

chopped off all of black fender with new led lights

Yea but it's required for inspection and here you have to get inspected every year, not sure how strict they are

Agreed, If you are going for a driving test or live in a state that requires an inspection, you might want to have a way to pop them on. Here in IL we don't have to get our motorcycles or cars/trucks inspected. All they care about is the registration $$. Good luck with the test. Dan
